Fruit description:

Carolina Reaper Yellow peppers are 4 cm long and 5 cm wide. They have a smooth surface that ripens from green to deep yellow. They have a thicker skin than the red variety and are generally larger and heavier. When cut open, ripe fruits reveal oily, yellowish droplets on the inner wall, which contain high levels of capsaicin and can cause a burning sensation even on the skin.

It grows to around 80-130 cm and has no distinctive features among peppers. Due to its extreme fertility, the Carolina Reaper is unable to grow tall and very soon begins to bend towards the ground. Without support, the branches will certainly break. From the beginning of cultivation, it is therefore important to ensure thorough tying and sufficient space for the plant.

Growing requirements:

As with other peppers, you will achieve the highest yield with the Carolina Reaper Yellow variety in a ventilated greenhouse or polytunnel that is exposed to the sun all day long. These conditions ensure an optimal supply of nutrients and water. The plant will also bear fruit in other environments, but the yield will be lower.
