Fruit description:
Dragons Breath peppers are similar in size and shape to a golf ball. The bottom of the fruit is characterized by a typical "pig's snout," similar to the Trinidad Scorpion Moruga or some 7 Pot varieties. The shape of these peppers is relatively stable, with a diameter slightly smaller than that of the Moruga.

Plant description:
Under our conditions, when grown in a greenhouse, Dragons Breath commonly grows to a height of 1.6 meters, which is comparable to Trinidad Scorpion Moruga, which can exceed two meters. After transplanting, the plant initially grows more slowly and tends to spread outwards. It is only during the summer that it grows more rapidly in height and produces more flowers and fruits. Yields are slightly below average, but may vary depending on the season and growing conditions.

Growing requirements:
Peppers of the Capsicum chinense genus require sufficient space for optimal growth. The recommended spacing between plants is at least 80 cm, with greater distances always being beneficial.
Dragons Breath thrives best in a greenhouse, which provides more stable temperature conditions if properly ventilated during the summer months. A greenhouse significantly reduces the negative effects of weather – it protects plants from prolonged rain, cold nights, strong winds, or hail.
Temperature inertia is also an important factor. The use of black agrotextile helps to warm the soil during the day, which then releases heat after sunset, mitigating temperature fluctuations compared to outdoor cultivation.
The greenhouse also provides protection from ground frosts, which can occur in mid-May and in the fall. Although the greenhouse structure may be covered with frost, the plants usually remain undamaged. However, when temperatures drop below -2 °C, it is advisable to use an additional heat source, such as electric heaters with fans or ceramic propane-butane heaters. Peppers generally require nutrient-rich soil. Approximately 4-6 weeks after transplanting, it is recommended to fertilize the plants again so that they have enough nutrients for further growth and fruit production.
