The Strawberry Cough strain originates from North America, but is partly of European origin. It is a hybrid between one indica variety and another sativa variety. Dutch Passion selected the resulting hybrid to obtain approximately 80% sativa representation. The Strawberry Cough seeds were subsequently obtained from this selection.
