Peppermint
Mint is a perennial herb. It has a hairy stem, up to 75 cm tall. The leaves are ovate, lanceolate, pointed, sharply serrated, almost entire, with a petiole up to 10 mm long. The blade is somewhat hairy, about 8 cm long, glandularly dotted, dark green on the front and lighter on the back. When growing mint, it is necessary to fence it in with something, as it spreads quickly.
The leaves are harvested at the beginning of flowering in dry weather around noon and dried in the shade as quickly as possible. If dried slowly, they turn brown. The artificial temperature should not exceed 35°C.
