Seedstockers was founded in Barcelona in 2017 by a team of highly experienced cannabis experts with the aim of focusing on top quality. Initially, they used classic, proven cannabis genetics to create several popular and award-winning strains such as BCN Critical XXL, AK420, and BCN Power Plant. Several other award-winning strains followed in 2018. This was due to the acquisition of exceptional genetics from the USA, including Gorilla, Cookies, and Gelato strains.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and determination of the entire team, Seedstockers had already proven itself to be an affordable and reliable supplier of high-quality cannabis seeds, both autoflowering and feminized. Part of this success was based on a collection of elite mother plants carefully gathered in Spain since the 1990s and during the early 21st century. Some of the newer cannabis genetics then come from American/Californian breeders.
